No excuse.

So.. another week passes with no updates. Sad. Especially for my lack of a job and all. Its not like I'm putting in 40 hours somewhere.

I guess I haven't really had much to reflect upon recently. That could be the reason for the weekly updates. I'm sure some of you problee load the page and close it due to nothing new. And I'm sure those same people will eventually quit visting due to being disappointed with my lack of keeping the world up to date on my happenings. Hang in there is all I've got to say.

Got to drive the fast car last Friday. 25 pounds of boost and 110 leaded fuel in the tank. I totally forgot how fast this thing is. There were some points during a run, I'd be somewhat afraid. Coool!! This is what I like. I don't know if I can sell it now. Its too much fun.

Was going to take said car to the drag strip up in Indy on Tuesday, but that fell thru due to rain. So I went up to bw3s on the southside of Indy and hung out with some fellow gear heads for burgers and beer. Three mustang guys who were cool and into speed such as myself. I need to move up there and ditch this dead town.

There's this little blonde gal who works at my local watering hole. Cute gal who is always ready to join in conversation. I find that very cool. I noticed she was out at the IHOP late Friday nite when I was out with the local gear heads. First time I've seen her in street clothes. I'm going to have to continue to chat with her and make small talk so I can get a feel for her. I'll have to drop the Gearge Costanza line, "I'm unemployed, and live with my parents." We'll see where it goes from there.

I hope everyone has a killer weekend. I know I will. Got to meet friends on friday, and I'll problee hang with Donnie and Brad to see what kind of debauchery we can get into.

Nitenite.

Its been.. one week and haven't blogged...

Wow.. a week. I'm Geneish in doing that.

Well.. where do I start. Oh.. I played golf ALLLL last week. 4 times in fact. Didn't work out except for Monday, and it didn't bother me at all since I was out on the links. I'm going to try and not let that happen again as I feel it's best for me to keep at the routine. I did however get back into the swing of things today. I felt stronger as the bench press didn't seem as tough this time around. Maybe its due to me giving my body a rest and not doing it 3 times a week.

So I had a friend that in a drink off with a chick. Jay and Jessie. Jessie works with Jay out at the local air base. Both are cool people. I hang out with Jay around once a week.. sometimes more. He wanted me there to watch the amazing feat, and to also drive him home. I show up at 430, and the drinking begins.

Here are the rules..
1 drink must be completed every 30 minutes.
Only the bartender can call off the drink off.
Looser wears a sign of the winner's choice during drill weekend.

I think they go untill about 830 or 9. Which is quite a bit, since they were drinking a beverage that has no non alcoholic beverage in it. I don't knwo what it really is.. we just call it jay's drink. The next to last drink that Jessie had, she had like 5 minutes to down the entire thing. She gets it done and suprises me and rest of the people checking this thing out. They're about 25 minutes into theire last drink and jay calls it quits. Then proceeds to head to the bathroom. You know whats coming.... all over the floor. And I've got a weak stomach for that stuff. I'm going get one of the guys that's helping out there to get me a mop and bucket and I get to cleaning. Meanwhile, Jay is wheeled outside on a chair where he hangs out for an hour. Jess I think goes to do her own thing in the bathrrom and is out of commision for about 45 minutes before she's seen again. Jess and I have a little kissing session during the night as well. She's a red head that could be a lot of fun. I may try and pursue that a little bit to see what comes of it.

Saturday nite was a wedding for Marc and Kristen. Kristen is still somewhat active in her sorority in school so a lot of her friends from that were there. I met up with a few of them and made out with one thru the night. One of the girls there was trying to fix us up, and told me to just start making out with her. I'm a shy guy when it comes down to it so this is totally uncharacteristic of me. I guess I elevated my game that day. I had ot pull back was the weird thing. I guess she throughly enjoyed it from what I was told after wards. ALtho the blonde tammy was a little hottie.. altho she had this almost elitist attitude with her, which made her sorta unsavory. I think it may have been cuase a guy who was annoying was hitting on her. Oddly enogh, when I hung out with them later in the night, she was talking to a guy of mexican decent. And I'm not talking one of his parent's were mexican, i think he was FOB. If you can say there's a boat in this situation.

I'll try to keep hte spelling erros to a minimium as someone called me out on it. I don't see a spell check, and I ain't gonna cut and paste this into word. If I miss some.. sorry. I try to catch them, but ya know. I'm doing this on the laptop.. so i problee missed some keys or whatever.

I'll try and update more often for my adoring fan. Since I know they are hung on every word. ;)

Am I getting dumber??

I wonder if its possible to get dumber? Dumb question, eh?

So its been a few days since I've posted something. I guess I've been busy. I was in Cincinatti for a Reds game, and some partying with the locals.

Where's I leave off... oh ya. The 'skillz' test for the state. JOKE! Reading comprehension, applied math, and something else that escapes me at the moment. I ripped thru the first test and had 15 minutes or so to just sit there and do nothing. I took my time on the next one since I didn't feel like sitting there again for another 15 minutes or so. Apparently, I've been selected to be questioned by the state regarding the usefullness of such a program. Gee.. I wonder why they picked me for such an honor. Bachelors degree mabey... I think I'm going to blow it out of the water and let em know that I think its silly for someone who's got a college degree to go thru such a waste of time and resources. There wasn't any one to watch as they were normal people like me. Most of them were 40s or 50s, and there was a semi decent chick in there who I chatted with in the elevator. She was a 20 something. Problee had a few kids or whatnot.

I also had a phone interview with a company veyr near Omaha Nebraska named Omaha Standard. The guy's first question was.. I see you've got some kind of degree I'm not familiar with. Can you explain that. I get into its only one of ten or so programs that offeres this type of degree and that classes involve lots of theory based learning, and some hands on lab experience. He then tells me, "No not that. I've not heard of a bacaluerette degree." And he butchered bacaluerette badly. I just told it, its the same as a bachelors. Both words mean the same thing. BRILLIANT!!!

Friday nite I went out with the girls. I was told it was going to be 3 or 4 guys there, but they didn't show. bastards. Luckily we ran into my buddy Clay and Marc at a local hot spot so I got to get out of the chick talk. We ended up going to the Gooseneck Brew here in Brazil. Ugh. I hate places like this with the most 'excellent' clientelle in all the land. Its the epitome of white trash (AKA dub-d tee and Whiskey Tango as Aiden from SoCal calls them) in this town. And many of you know I dislike the Whiskey Tango quite a lot. They kill me and its just silly and wears me out. I guess its okay to people watch, but even that gets to me. What brought us there is my buddy Clay's brother works down there. Caleb's a funny character with his stories and what not. He told me he's going to take his new pickup truck to a truck pull. I guess I'l have to check that out since that'll be a hoot.

Saturday.. myself and Brad took off to Cinci for the Reds and Orioles game. Good time. We didn't get rained on too much from this ex-tropical storm since we lucked out and got seats under the upper level. Shielded from any rain that should come down. .sweet. I did go thru money like it was water. $6 a beer, and I think I may have had a 6 pack. Reds won, which helped out my BoSox a bit.

Later that night we hit up a club on Mt. Adams. Good time. The hottest looking trendy chicks were there. A handfull of batchelorette parties and good drinks made it a good time. I was the first to 'suck for a buck' on one particular batchelorettes. One of the bride's to be had a shirt that had life savers glued or taped to it with the lettering.. last fling before the ring. I got one on her stomach just below the bra line. While I was pulling this life saver off with my teeth, I ran my hands up and down here sides. She went wild. As did her court of beauties that were helping her celebrate her last days of freedom. Brad of corse.. takes on directly off the boob. I thought I've have more couth than that. I problee shoulda whipped out another buck and went for it again, but that'd be kinda creepy. Hopefully.. she made enough dollars to buy that $100 kitchen-aide mixer she was after. Congrats to you and yours.

We also checked out a band dowenstairs. They played rock and it was good rock too. I got to talking to a few women there, and I had 2 other groups compliment me on my collogne. It seems that the chiks really dig the Yoop! scent. :) Its for you ladies. all for you.

We stay at the Hilton downtown and get to sleep at 330 or so. We're up at 10 so we can make Stuart Bennett's first birthday party. It was rainy, but it was a good time. In going back to my dislike of WT, there was a group playing kickball in the mud. I can see if its young kids doing it.. but 5 or 6 of the group of 15 were older than I. These guys were sliding in a big mud pit they created for home plate. Awesome. I dig this place. What was weird is that thye had a big baseball looking beachball sized kickball. That makes me think this is a typica sunday activity for these cats. I mean.. who has a baseball looking, beachball sized kickball on them for such situations?? Not I. Nor will I ever. I guess for them, it was a fun time spending time with their kids and what not. I guess I shouldn't be critical of them for enjoying time with family no matter how unruly and WTish it is. Its better than them all sitting around hammering cans of PBR and yelling at their kids to get out of the way of the teevee so they can catch the nascar race.

Wow.. 47 mintues of writing on this one. Hopefully its worth it to you, the reader. My buddy Dave said it was good stuff. I think he was just being nice. He's problee sending it to all his friends up in NYC telling them to check out this hill-jack from Indiana. :) Dave has a supra, and runs the thing hard at the drag strip. Congrats on what you'd done with that car Dave. Pretty impressive to say the least.

Keep the shiny side up kids.

Waiting...

Nothing going on in my life. I guess its the area. Area sucks.. nothing going on. I did receive 2 calls from recruiters today. So I'll return those calls tomorrow. I'm wondering if I should start to fib a bit on my resume. Rather than me getting released.. I quit.. or was RIF'ed. I'm starting to strongly believe that I could pull this off. I give them the number for George, who would be my direct supervisor, and he'll tell the company that they had a reduction in force. I think I could pull this off with ease. I'd just have to count on George to be there should a call arrive. And I konw George would go for it too. Thats the cool part.

My dad brought home this fountain that mom has been wanting for a while. We got it set up and its working well. We ran into a hitch with a GFI outlet on the front of the house. It will not get electricity. The breaker seems to be fine, but the stupid thing just isn't working. Electricity, to me, is magic. So I don't mess with it at all.

Brad and myself are checking out a Reds game this Saturday. I need to check out the hotel stuff so I can find one close to the clubs so we are able to check out the nightlife.

The Unemployment office wants me to come in for some reading comprehension, math, and something else test. Supposed to take 4 hours or something. WTH is that?? Hi. I've got a Batchelor degree from ISU. I'm suuuure I can do the math and reading stuff. Its friggen stupid. I'm sure once I've done with that, I'll be getting calls from people wanting me to do repetitive work on a production line or something foolish like that. I guess I'll just blow them away with my salary requirement. Altho... I4 could be pleasantly suprised by all of this. Maybe I'll land something, there are mulitple jobs for professionals on the DWD website, but no way to apply for said positions. At the very least.. it'll be a grand opportunity to people watch. Maybe I'll take pictures with my phone at the people in this thing with me. It might be fun. :)

Ehhh...

I worked out (lifting) for the first time in about 2 weeks on wednesday. I did a complete workout since usually I'll skip the situps. Side bends, bench, deads, lat raises, squats. 3x10 of everything. Usualy takes me a bit over an hour to do. I don't thing its supposed to take that long, but I do 9 excescises total. I don't think I can speed it up much without sacrificing the weight. I need to step it up on the cardio tho. I've not been doing any for a while, and its going to hurt me when i do start back in on it.

Me and my buddy George put our other buddie's grill together today. Its a middle of the road weber with stainless cooking grates and stainless flavoriter bars. Its a nice piece and it should easily last him 10+ years. He better apprciate it since i sliced my friggen finger wide open on it.

I've got this thing about watching MTV cribs. Of of right now.. I've spent 28 minutes on this post. The Cribs man.. the Cribs will suck ya in every time.

I'm looking forward to going out tomorrow nite and having some drinks with friends. I'll need to call Sam since he called me last weekend and I was doing the wedding thing. So I owe him a call.
