Slacker extraordinaire.

So.. ya. like 2 weeks.

Caught freak show at a redneck bar last nite. Good band.. but I've seen them so much I'm tired of them. maybe its the people tho. And the fact that every chick that is over 200 lbs likes to dance behind me and get up on me. Last nite, I had one take it as far as any of them have taken it. She actualy reached around me and gave hte junk a squeeze. Promptly after this, I called my friend Randi over and planted a kiss right on her. Something about a 115lb extremely cute brunette that chases off the tons-o-fun chicks. I'm not in the best of shape, but I am a regualr shaped buy. I'm not built, altho I've been working out fiarly hard since the end of Feb. I'm after someone who takes care of themselves. I guess I'm asking too much...

What else has happened.... oh. Interview at Cummins down in Columbus, Indiana. They are a diesel engine manufacturer. Doing everything from R&D to manufacturing. I didn't get the job, altho I'm wasn't too impressed with this place. Being an engineer for them would be nice, but a technician for them wouldn't be, which is what I was interviewed for. Techs work some 21 day schedule. 7 days on, 4 off, 6 on 4 off or something like that. They also work shifts. So there would be a good chance that I would be on some 2nd shift crap. I didn't go to school for 4 years to work a crappy shift like that.

I did apply to IUPUI this thursday. I've was accepted about 2 years ago, so I don't see why I wouldn't be accepted this time around as well. I'm going to go into engineering. Likely mechanical. I think I have to take 12 hours before I can actualy get into the school of engineering, so I apply as a graduate-non-degree status in order to fullfill that 12 hour minimium. Looking forward to it, altho I'm a bit worried about heading back into school after being out for so long. I just need to get into the swing of things, that's all.

I'm going to attempt to keep a good udate on my moblog since Gene mentioned it. Thanks for putting me under the gun, dude. :)

Another week. Or weak...

Goooosh. A week since my last update. Terrible. I need to get to updating on this thing.

I'm in a hotel with free broadband. Too bad I really don't have any stuff to download. I could do some music, but ehhh. No porn out there that I've gotta have. Sad to have all this bandwidth and not be able to use it. I ran a speedtest on it, and its pulling down about 1.2MB a sec. Pretty good compared to my 90k a sec thing at home. At least I think its good.

I met a local supra guy down here who I've talked to frequently via IM. Jon of MDC motorsports. I think he was wanting to shoe me his shop but I had ot get on here and blog. :p Pretty cool guy. He's trying to presuade me to hit up the big chicago meet at the end of the month. I'll have to check it out when I get home to see who's going and if it'll be worthy or not. I guess the highest dyno'ing mk3 and mk4 gets $100 cash. I guess I could go up there and bring home that hunny. I'm not seeing anything that impressive, but who knows.

I've had some parties and some other stuff this past week. But I really need to sleep since I've got this interview at 730am tomorrow. I don't care if i'm offered teh job or not, since I'm about 47% sure it'll be NOT first shift. Pssshhht. I didn't go to school for 5 years to work a shift other tahn first. Not diggin' it. Besides, I don't beleive this degree will take me where I want to go in life.

I'm rocking a dell laptop.. c600 in fact. And its got that little nipple thing between the g and h key. Sometimes I hit that, and the cursor will jump up or back lotsa lines. Its now off since this just happened and I don't use the nipple to navigate.

I'm doing wings tomorrow night with my buddy donnie. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully well. But we'll see. At the very least, I'll check out the all star game.

Its 10 till midnite. I'm up in 5 hours and 51 minutes from now. Lucky me.

Happy 4th everyone. Hope you get to spend time with good people.

I've been a party guy this weekend. Starting with a birthday party friday. Suprised her at ruby tuesdays with a group of friends. A fine fine place to get a bite to eat. Moderately priced, and nice big portions. Oh, and an all you can eat salad bar that is equally as good. From there, it was into the my local watering hole for drinks and conversation. I end up lip locking with the birthday girl, and with my bestest female friend. Later that nite we went back to the birthday girl's house for a nightcap of just sitting around and chatting. More lip locking with another girl that was with us.

Saturday nite was kind of a bust, but it was relaxing. Some chill time in a party weekend is a good thing. Watched american pie with some friends and generally took it easy.

Sunday nite myself and my buddy Donnie took off to a party that I was invited to by Lisa who works at my watering hole. She's an extremely attractive girl who has a way about her. Good conversationalist (is that a word?) who seems to tell it like it is, or at least how she sees it. Some people I run into or know from the watering hole are flakey. Donnie picked up on this.. its like they know you sometimes, and other times its like they look directly thru you. Weird. Most of the people are cool, but some are this way. Regardless, this party was a good time and I got to know some of these people a little more personal level. Good times. I left there at 430am or so and had a great time. Props on the party Lisa. This evening I've got Christy's annual party. She lives across from the spot where they shoot off all the fireworks. Its really a front row seat for (I'm told) one of the best fireworks displays in the western part of the state. People from all around come to check this thing out. I'll be over there at 6ish or so, and am prepared to chit chat with friends who I see only at this party. I think we're going to hit up the carnival (also across from Christy's) to see just how many meth'd up people we can find. You'll see the guys who 5 foot 10, 104lbs walking around with no shirt on. Its like they are proud of the tat' that looks like it was drawn by a 3 year old with a black crayon. I think I'll have to take some pictures for you all to appreciate the amount of redneck that goes on in this town. It'll make your day a lot brighter I'm sure.

I'll also see how many hotties are at this party. Usually friends of friends tag along and sometimes those are singles. Hopefully. I did hear a nice line regarding married people.. I have yet to see a ring that can plug a hole. Interesting.
