jags.

This school stuff is kicking my butt. I'd sooo much rather go back into the workforce, but this will pay off big for me and get me going to where I want to go. At least I hope so.

I'm in the computer lab, and its 3:08 now. I need to hit up the math tutor for a little help with some stuff, then I can start the hour and 10 minute drive back home. I saw regular gas today for 2.99 a gallon and premium was 3.29. Insanity. I problee should have filled up last nite.

I jacked my shoulder up working out last wednesday. I was doing dumbell shoulder presses on a slightly declined bench. I didn't mean to, but I lifted to failure. The right side I got up okay, but the left side failed when the weight was about 1/2 way up. It then drops back behind me, with me still holding it. I heard some ripping and tearing sounds. Not good. I get to see the nurse about it tomorrow. I'm sure she'll have "rest it and come back in a week to see the doctor". Maybe she'll make me wear a sling for a bit. I don't want that around here at school. Such a PITA. I wanted to see the doctor, but he's out the rest of this week and all of next. So I'll likely pay the nurse, and then pay the doctor. Nice.. no insurance over here.

maybe I'll hit the blog again soon.

So I've been up at school (iupui.edu) and have notice TONS of fiiiine asses everywhere. I've noticed some not so fine.. but the fine far outweight the not so fine. I've alos noticed that the engineering building (at least on the 2nd floor) smells like body odor. Nice. What else is happening... oh.. we couldn't get into pfreak show (www.pfreakshow.com) tonight as it was full. Weird thing is.. its a bar that just charges cover at the door. Full is the word we got. So went to the Terminal and had beverages and conversation. I've had 2 chicks approach me and tell me that we had ot do shots and they knew who i was. I didn't know either of them. Weird. maybe just drunk and wanting to hook up. I should have with one one em.. but oh well.

I'm blogging from this chick's laptop, which Gene will greatly appreciate. He tells me I've created an entire geanra (spelling.. I'm at someone's crib c'mon) of bloggin. I need to do it more often. I dunno if it counts if its the same one.. but oh well. This is what you get Gene. I think she is taking a shower BTW. Yummy clean. ;)

I shoudl write tomorrow to give the people who are rading this some input on my end.

Homework suucks. I've got lots to do this weekend. I can't get into this I-learn thing that I've gotta submit homework thru by monday. No good on that.

I've also noticed that alot of people are toting laptops around. I see many of them in the wi-fi section of school. I also see a lot of people who lok like they are toting around luggage at hte airport. Its on rollers.. but its a backpack. How lazy is that. I'm sportin' a backapack from 97 or so. maybe it'll be 'in' as its old-school.

Driving an hour and ten sucks a big one. Frist day of class, I was like 45 miutes late. I didn't even bother as some Prof's get pissed when you you're late by that much. It took me 30 minuts to drive 2 miles or so. I've since found an alternatate route to school. Big props os Melissa Haviland found letting me in on this little secret. Love you and Clay lots. :) Clay more.. obviously. he my boy.

She's done with the shower she was taking.. lets see what happens......

newnes...

same chick yo.. hehehe.

IUPUI

I guess its official.. I'm a Jaguar now. Today I spend the late morning at IUPUI singing up for classes. I have some math class, a CAD class, chemistry and economics. Hopefully, I can kick the ADD stuff and focus on what I've got going. Shouldn't be too hard as I've got drive to do this, and that is most of it for me. As it is for others I'm sure.

I didn't see many chicks out there today. I saw some, but nothing to really mention. I'm sure that will change with time.

I received parts from the toyota contact for the Ohio supra group. He's never let me down in the past 4 or 5 years I've been ordering stuff, but he got me the wrong stuff this time around. He got me flex plate bolts for mounting up a torque converter. Problem is, I don't have one of those in the car. What I was after was pressure plate bolts. Oh well. He's doing well for me so far. I think I'm going to start giving him part numbers to make things on his end a bit easier and to make sure I'm getting what I'm after.

I need to go thru all my toyota crap, and see if there is anything else I'm going to need before submitting this final order. So I'll be up in the top of the garage going thru boxes of parts trying to find everything I need.

Weird.. my wireless keeps going in and out for whatever reason. I'm suuuure this post will not make it and it'll piss me off when it doesn't. Time to initiate those ever so popular ctrl+a followed by crtl+c and finaly a crtl+v into wordpad. I think Gene touched on this recently.

I hope to blog from another chick's pad this weekend. Only time will tell.

I hope to have some good stories about our excursions this weekend. I'll fill you all in, as I always do.

PBR.

So I visited my buddy Clay who i haven't seen in a good while last night. His beer on hand was Pabst Blue Ribbon. Ya.. PBR. He throws me one, and I figure, why not. I'll give it a chance. First thing I notice.. ohh it smells horrible. Like skunked beer. Not that I've ever had skunked beer before, but I would assume it smelled exactly like this stuff. Taste. Not too bad. It's a very light beer, so it right up my ally. Problem with it is you've got to drink it quick before it gets warm, or it is just isn't a pleasure to drink. The arora starts to catch up to it and makes the beer taste bad. The light beers from miller, coors, and bud don't do this. They don't taste as good when they are warm, but its still not too bad. A muuuch better aroma as well, be it ice cold or luke warm.

Haircut at 5:30 today, then some wal-mart shopping after that, then off to Margarita Monday's at Tumbleweed. I think this will be 4 weeks in a row we've done this. I'll try and take some pictures for the moblog tonight.

I need ot call IUPUI and get setup with an advisor for scheduling and get rolling on that. Tomorrow sounds like a good day to do that.

Precusor to a fabulous weekend?

I guess this is going to continue my post from a friend's place last nite (early this morning).

Started the night off at Sears trying to get my torque wrench fixed. I knew it was going to cost me, but wasn't sure how much. I'm told to take it back to customer care, and they'll help me out with it. I head back thru the swinging double doors marked 'employees only' and coem to an attractive girl who helps me out. As I'm leaving, I hear my name called, and spin around to find Sara(h) standing in front of me. She informs me that our friend Matt is coming into town and that we should all hang out. I'm game and tell her to get ahold of me should plans materialize.

I hit up the outbakc for grub with another group of friends. Good eats and good conversation as always. Durring dinner, matt calls and tells me to meet him at the loca lwatering hole and we'll find something to do from there.

We have a drink or two and head out to meet Sara(h) and some of her friends. We instantly all hit it off and conversation flows like the beers being served at the bar. The girl want to dance and I'm interested in gettin gijjy wit it as well. We hit up the local dance bar. Not a club, just a bar with a dance floor. Sadly enough, a band is playing. http://www.richhardesty.com. He's been around, and a quick glance at his dates shows he's up in northern Indiana, Minneapolis, and out in SoCal at the end of the month. Quite the traveler.

Paige, one of Sara(h)'s friends, wants to leave and asks me and my buddy to hang out with her and her roomate at their place. Paige is a very attractive, early 20s chick who's one of the most bubbly people I've met in a long time. Nothing but good vibes from her. We kinda got into deep conversation for people who've known each other for only a few hours. She seems to have been thru a lot in her life, and is looking to make an impression in the teaching profession. It was nice to chat with someone who has such a drive for what they want to do. Thanks for the conversation, Paige. It was stimulating to say the least. I would look forward to hanging out with her again.

That was Friday. I'm heading to Indy tonight to hang out at the Slippery Noodle which is Indiana's oldest bar. Very near the downtown area. Should be a good time. I'll deffinately have some input for you, the reader, later tonight. Or early in the morning as it typically goes.
yoh.. from some chicks joint. later

Oh ya.. a quick hi to Stephanie Gullett. A new reader of my lackluster journal. Hey Steph. She lives in North Carolina now. I used ot work with her at Workhorse Custom Chassis. We both have many friends there. Pam, Brad G, Wayne S, Rodney ?, Brad M, Duarte (Dwight) R, Chrissy ?, Dave B, Anton F, Louis S, and Richard VL. These may be more my friends that her's.. but they are some of the ones that I'd talk to on occasion.

Since I have posted twice today.. does that mean I can go for a few weeks without an update?
This blogging has become a chore more than a pleasure. Not sure why. Shouldn't be that way, I should want to convey my messages throughout the world.

I took off to Chicago for a Supra meet this weekend. It was good to get out of town, and put some faces with the screen name. I also took home $100 from the dyno competition since I was top power maker for the 3rd generation cars. i hit a bird on way up on I57. Pictures on my moblog. http://aljordan.textamerica.com

Since I'm selling the land cruiser, I'm going to miss the great stereo in it. Driving the car this entire weekend, I found myslef missing low frequency music. I'd listen to songs in the car that were missing parts of the song due to the small speakers. If I'm going to be driving the car for a long time, I'm going to stick a decent stereo system in there. I have no clue on this stuff tho. I figure it'll be a 4 channel amp and another amp powering a 10 sub. Nothing too big, not boomy, just clean low frequency repsonse is all I'm after.

I need ot get my butt on the phone with IUPUI as well. I've bene accepted and need to call thme to setup schedule and all that jazz. They want me to take some test crap, which I've taken 2 year ago, so maybe I cna get outta that stuff. Likely not, but I'll try. If not, I'll walk in and just fill in the blanks as it doesn't really get you anywhere. You can test out of a class, but you'll need to make up the hours somewhere. Might as well bomb the placement test, and get a easy class for the A. :)

I hurt today from working out yesterday. Not sure if its growing pains (if there is a such a thing) or me being 30, or me just being a little bitch and whining about it. I put up 160 for 5 reps after my 3 sets of 10 of 150. I guess since Feb 9th, I've went from 95 pounds to 160. I've not put on any weight aside from 5 pounds, but I now have a pair of jeans that I've got to be kind of carefull with or they'll fall down. I've also got calloused hands that I've 'worked hard' keeping noncalloused. Sedentary lifestyle will get you that.

Last nite we had out Monday night Margarrita night. This is the 3rd week in a row i think. Good time with some good people. We just keep growing and growing with people. One of these days, we're going to be 15 strong at some point. Out current high is 10.

I'm hitting the sack. I've done nothing all day, and I'm tired due to that.
